WADE RATHKE

ACORN founder and former national chief organizer Wade Rathke, who was dismissed from his post by ACORN’s national board in June 2008 after covering up a million dollar embezzlement by his brother, has created or appears to be in control of new activist groups or groups that were part of the ACORN network.

Rathke created a new group called Advocates and Action (website). (Incorporated June 8, 2010 in Louisiana, charter number 40225514N, DUNS: 03-458-5460) The new nonprofit corporation is located at 3401 Saint Claude Ave., New Orleans, Louisiana 70117, according to Nexis. As of June 24, 2012, another 17 organizations show the same address. They are:
