Economic Terrorism’s Big Comeback

“Economic Terrorism’s Big Comeback” is the name of my latest piece at Front Page Magazine. Here’s the top of it: Radical activist groups associated with President Barack Obama have launched a campaign of economic terrorism and sabotage – possibly with his blessing. Mortgage and student loan strikes, crippling bank boycotts, intimidation, and who knows what else are all on the agenda. The idea of leftists using terrorism to achieve political objectives isn’t new. Leon Trotsky supported the use of terrorism to advance so-called social justice. Politico article: Right seeks edge in ‘oppo’ wars

A new Politico article by Kenneth P. Vogel, Right seeks edge in ‘oppo’ wars, quotes me several times. Here’s one passage: “A lot of conservatives think that you have to abide by Marquess of Queensberry rules even if you’re in a knock-down, drag-out bar fight,” said Matthew Vadum […]. “And it’s good to be ethical, but sometimes maybe you need to explore new frontiers to reflect the changing nature of political combat in modern America.” He added, “This doesn’t mean we have to go all Saul Alinsky on the left, but the right can be more aggressive in how it deals … Continue reading Politico article: Right seeks edge in ‘oppo’ wars

Apparently I was wrong. They haven’t done anything about ACORN and it’s not clear that they will do anything about ACORN even though the group has been in the process of re-forming under new names for more than the last year. Here’s the video of the interview: Continue reading Will New Congress Investigate ACORN? Matthew Vadum on Fox Business

Matthew Vadum on the Laura Ingraham Show

I was on the “Laura Ingraham Show” some time ago talking about Patrick Gaspard, who at the time was President Obama’s political director (one of the same titles Karl Rove used to hold) in the White House. The problem was Gaspard, who had been an SEIU executive, was also a longtime high-level political operative for ACORN. It gets even worse. After my interview Gaspard moved over to the Democratic National Committee (DNC) and became its executive director. This means he is now in charge of the DNC’s experiment in brutal Saul Alinsky-style organizing, Organizing for America. Needless to say, this … Continue reading Matthew Vadum on the Laura Ingraham Show
