Host Arnab Goswami put together another edition of “The Debate with Arnab” on Republic TV in India, arguing that the United States is losing the war in Iran. (Goswami is reportedly the biggest TV journalist in India.)

On the show, he uncritically accepted Iranian propaganda that several U.S. warplanes have been shot down and that this is an ominous sign for the U.S. war effort. In fact, only one jet has been confirmed to have been shot down, which, while tragic, is hardly proof that the U.S. is losing.

I pointed out that the U.S. has inflicted great damage on the remnants of Iran’s “antique” air force, that its missile defenses have been degraded, and that its navy now resides in Davy Jones’s locker.
