I said the U.S. strategy right now is what it was before, but with “more talking and less bombing.”

President Donald Trump “unfortunately, keeps turning into Monty Hall from ‘Let’s Make a Deal,’ that show in the 1960s and 1970s on American TV,” I opined.

“He keeps stopping things and saying ‘let’s make a deal,’ and this is not the way — I’m no military strategist, but this isn’t the way I would be conducting the war if it were my call. They should be doing more fighting and bombing and less talking, so who knows how long this will drag on.”
