I was on “The Debate with Arnab” on June 15, 2026, on Republic TV in India. (Host Arnab Goswami is reportedly the biggest TV journalist in India.)
The topic was the peace deal between the United States and Iran.
I said:
“The details of this peace agreement that have emerged so far are quite disappointing. Donald Trump gave up on regime change a few weeks into the war, he had spoken of it before, and then he lost interest in going forward, and he inexplicably decided that he wanted to have this extended cease fire, during which Iran has been rearming, apparently with the assistance of China and Russia. And I don’t think anything good will come out of this.”
I also said:
“The deal does, in my opinion, throw Israel under the bus. Israel is in a better position than it was a few months ago, but it’s still not in a good position. I don’t think Israel is going to abide by the terms of this agreement, which it is not actually a party to. You know [Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin] Netanyahu has been left twisting in the wind, and he is independent enough that he doesn’t always do what President Trump pressures him to do. And he’s indicated that Israel is going to continue defending itself from attacks [by] Iran’s terrorist proxy, Hezbollah, in Lebanon. So, I don’t think it’s a good deal. I think the only good thing about the deal is that gasoline prices are going to drop, and that’s going to help economies around the world, but this is only a short-term consideration.”
I can’t find a video clip of the entire show, so here is a clip showing my segment:
