On May 12, 2026 (May 13 in India) the topic was secret Saudi attacks on the Islamic Republic of Iran. Maybe they kept the attacks secret to maintain good relations with other Arab countries, I said. The other guest was journalist Daniel Bordman. We also discussed the revelation that Iran has more active missile sites on the Strait of Hormuz than was previously understood.

I talked about political developments in the United Kingdom. A powerful committee in the Labour Party greenlit Andy Burnham, a potential rival to Prime Minister Keir Starmer, to run in a key by-election. The committee was filled with Starmer loyalists, so the decision came as a surprise.
