The topic was Israeli strikes in Lebanon and Iran war propaganda. Iran released a video showing a clip from the movie, “The Apprentice,” that the Iranian officials apparently thought put President Donald Trump in a bad light. I’m not sure Trump would be insulted.

On May 18, 2026 (May 19 in India), I discussed Iran’s far-fetched demands in peace negotiations and the problems the bottling up of the Strait of Hormuz are causing. There was an attack on a mosque in the United States. Does it portend a rise on so-called hate crimes against Muslims in America? I said I doubted it.
On the “World Report” show on NewsX World, I was on a panel discussing the heckling of Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi in Norway by journalist Helle Lyng Svendsen.

On May 19, 2026 (May 20 in India), I talked about a 50-47 procedural vote in the U.S. Senate on a War Powers Act resolution that could end the war in Iran. I said it wasn’t the final vote, and even if it passes the Senate, it probably won’t pass the House of Representatives. I added that President Donald Trump could still veto the resolution if it receives final congressional approval.
