ACORN’s institutional hagiographer John Atlas (photo below) took exception to a report of mine on the recent conviction of ACORN in a voter fraud conspiracy. Steve Kest, who was executive director of the organized crime syndicate ACORN, became a senior fellow at John Podesta’s Center for American Progress Action Fund last year. Twelve years ago many Democrats* and Republicans still thought lowering borrowing standards in order to help poor, uncreditworthy people play Russian roulette with home values was a wonderful idea.
